Terms of Service

Forthbeam Studio ("we", "us") is a trading name of {{LEGAL_NAME}}. These terms apply to every audit, sprint and care plan you buy from us. By paying, you agree to them.

1. Services

• Launch-Ready Audit: a review of your application against our 20-point checklist, a written report, one critical fix chosen by us, and a 30-minute walkthrough call.
• Production Fix Sprint: the fixes listed in a written quote, delivered within the stated time.
• Care Plan: the monthly maintenance described on our pricing page.

Anything not listed in the service description or a written quote is out of scope. We will tell you before doing out-of-scope work and agree a price first.

2. Payment

Audits are paid in full upfront. Sprints are 50% upfront and 50% on handover. Care Plans are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time, taking effect at the end of the paid month. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which may act as merchant of record.

3. Delivery and refunds

The 48-hour audit clock starts when we confirm we have working access to your repository and live app. If we don't deliver the report within 48 hours of that confirmation, we refund the audit fee in full and you keep the report. If you cancel before we start a sprint, we refund the upfront payment.

4. Your responsibilities

• Give us the access we need, ideally read-only, and tell us about anything sensitive in the codebase.
• You remain responsible for your application, its data, backups and compliance with laws that apply to you.
• Only grant access to systems you are authorised to share.

5. No guarantees

Our review reduces risk; it does not eliminate it. We do not guarantee that your application is free of vulnerabilities, bugs or outages after our work. Our audit is not a formal penetration test or a compliance certification.

6. Confidentiality and ownership

We keep your code, data and business information confidential and use it only to deliver the service. You own your code and the fixes we write for you once paid in full. We may reuse general know-how and our own checklists and templates. We will not name you as a client without your permission.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in question, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of {{GOVERNING_LAW}}.
